Questoria is a party game for special occasions when you want to surprise your guests and experience something different. Our game host will come to your office, your school or a cafe, and for a couple of hours your guests will be transformed into different characters, like for example, the characters from a mystery novel.

You may become a detective, a friend of yours might be a murderer,
your girlfriend could pose as a daring adventurer,
and your classmate might be a millionaire.

Everyone has different goals: to solve a crime,
cover up their tracks, obtain secret blueprints,
or take over the world (until the chief doctor returns).

How do you achieve your goals?

You are free to negotiate, build alliances, or plot.
Someone is asking you out for a private talk — or is it a trap?

You just have the backstory on how you landed in this situation. And it is up to you how the story will unfold. For example, you discover that you are a criminal fleeing from justice. What is your play? Bribe the policemen? Go for a plea deal? Set up anyone else? Or get rid of the evidence?

The decision is yours. There is no preset ending to the game. The resolution depends solely on the players’ strategies.

You don’t have «to learn the role» by heart, and you don’t have to be an actor.

All you need to do is imagine your hero in this situation. What would a real sheriff do if he saw some robbers hold up the bank? Would he shoot them? — Then do it! Would he negotiate? — Then negotiate! Would he seek refuge? — Then go hide!

Before the game starts, the host asks you to write down your role preferences: either you want an active role, a villainous one, or just more of an observational one.

Those who want a simpler role will get an observational one. Those who want to be more involved will get an active or villainous role.

That happens very rarely. And every role is worked out to let the player bring out their full potential. There’s no need to be limited by the character’s goals. You read: «steal the royal crown», but you think that it is way too simple for you — so you decide to become the king, and leave your opponents standing there in disbelief!

You can solve each task in the game in 3 different ways. So, if you don’t understand something, there will be other chances for you to get it.

Everyone sits at a table only during the Mini-Questories. In regular Questories the whole cafe room or your apartment is the game location. You can whisper with you allies in the corner, or trap your opponent into the next room and rob them one-on-one.

The super-big questorias with 40 or more players are held in larger premises or even outside.

Live quest is a game, in which you become a story hero, like in a book or a movie. There’s a script, characters, costumes and a sophisticated storyline. Players will face one common goal, for instance, to find a treasure-trove, or find a murderer, or save the world from an imminent doomsday. And you will get a role in that story, and for several hours, you will turn into a totally different person trying to achieve as many personal goals as possible. You can talk, negotiate, weave plots and conspire, or even poison your worst enemy.

Questoria is a live quest type. This is a ready-made holiday with facilitators, costumes and props available. Just send us a request, and we will do the rest. Questoria is not tied to a certain venue, instead we can hold your game wherever you want: at your place, at a cafe, your office or outdoors.
